Just cleaned the truck and gave it a quick detail. Also noticed the exhaust was dragging lol: http://s57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...fe/truck-3510/

wow its been awhile since ive been on. ive been busy with work and the new g/f. But im with dak on this one I think your truck would look good with everything red. And dak I used to detail cars and the armorall is what makes the plastics turn grey. It drys out the plastic while baking in the sun. Thats also why I dont use tires shine to often cause It causes your tires to start dry rotting over time

rwilhelms i know ur the pro but i have to totaly disagree w/ you.
when i got my truck all the trim was gray but now the trim is solid black.
ur right the sun bakes in the wax or what ever else is in it.
that just seems to make it last longer. if it rains the next day back to grey.(it needs to bake in, imo)
i'm using the vinyl, plastic, leather protectent. bottle is like 30years old mayb they stoped using the good chemicals.
and tire shines/cleaners were pretty much made to prevent rotting, or repair rotted tires.
sorry for the essay but one of us is totaly wrong.
and if it's me please correct me.

The previous owner used Armor all I like to just wash it and then dry/wax... I new that Armor all screws up the plastic I had that problem on my old truck.. Now this one has it too.. I am not going to paint the plastic bumper guards.. I do have the skills to paint my mirrors and handles but the bed will get painted by Uncle Rich... I bought the paint today that was $60 bucks for a small can
