Alright yall, uwharrie can be a pretty brutal place if you arent prepared. No need to "rough it" if you dont have to. It may seem like overkill but trust me getting stuck a mile or more from an actual road sucks. So I came up with a list of some necessary and highly suggested items to have for the trip:

Necessary-
Full Size Spare
Tow Strap (no hooks)
Jack & Lug wrench
Front and Rear Recovery Points
Fire Extinguisher
Flash Light
1st Aid Kit

Suggested-
Skid Plate(s)
Aggressive Tires (esp. you 2wd guys)
CB Radio
Basic Tool Kit
Tire Pressure Guage
Gloves
Camera/Video Camera

If anybody thinks i may have missed something please add on to the list.

 

Looks like I have a shopping list of stuff to get before April! The only things on that neccessary list I have available right now is a lug wrench, flash light and first aid kit :P

How many of ya'll have CB's? If more than half you do, I'll look into getting one. If not, I'm not going to bother.

Also, is there anywhere around Uwharrie that has air pumps to reinflate tires after we air them down? Or do I need to bring an air tank with me?

 

I dont have a cb either, so lets do a poll on cb's. I do have a cigarette lighter air compressor that was give to me, dont know what kinda pressure it will get up to I have not tried it lol.

 

i have a CB, i also have a onboard air compressor thats 150psi. i have everything thats necessary except the front tow hooks, but i might be getting those soon. and i have most of whats suggested. good list Rameses, anyone have a winch? just incase.
