Black Truck Of The Quarter Poll
It is time for the Black Truck of the Quarter competition. The way it works is every three months (February, May, August, and November) we are going to have a truck of the quarter contest. The winners of each of the four contests will then be matched up in the year ending Black Truck of the Year contest to be held in December. The following are the four entries running for the current Black Truck of the Quarter. Also, this is just a name and a picture to get us started, the entrants are encouraged to add more pictures and mod lists to this post. Good luck guys!

Here is my MOD list and a couple more pics
Description:
2002 5.9L 4x4
Sport. Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications: Superchips tuner, Volant CAI, Cherry Bomb Vortex SI/DO, 180 t-stat, Electric fan, High capacity trans cooler, synthetic fluids, Borg warner cap rotor and coil, Bosch fusion plugs and wires, home made jet airscoop,
Suspension Modifications:
rough country leveling keys
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Rims: 07 stock 20's
Tires: Nitto Mud Grapplers 35x12.50 R20
Spacers: 1-1/4" hubcentric
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Window tint, step rails, bed rails, Alpine stereo system, XM radio, blackened headlights, tinted tails, led tailgate light bar, debadged, Security by S&W.
Future Modifications:
3" body lift, 4:56 gears, rough country shocks, back up lights, and much more


Well my mods i think have been listed before....
However here it is again.
Basically the Magnum 5.9 was stroked out to a 6.7 (408) and then is boosted by a Turbo. Dynoed 670 RWHP and 577 RWTQ. Power comes on very early in the powerband due to the turbo with over 500 RWHP at just 4,000 RPM. Max I rev it is 6,800 rpms and we have it dialed in at the track at 13-14 lbs boost only. On the street the boost controller is turned off and i cruise around at 7-8 lbs boost or 512 RWHP.
Trans wise still a 46RE rebuilt by JPT transmission in Michigan. Also has a 4,000 Precision Industries Viper convertor to help get off the line. Stock axles but a Detroit Locker rear end.
Cosmetically it has a Street Scene Holly Rollie roll pan. With dual 3" exhaust after the 4" downpipe from the turbo.
I run 20" Replica R/T chrome rims on the street.
Interior has a set of Corbeau Black/Grey cloth seats, Monster tach with shift light, boost vacuum, trans temp and fuel pressure guages.
Also run a B&M quicksilver floor shifter.
Also have a 6 point roll cage keeping up with the required safety regulations.

Here is a vid of the alarm system connection I was talking about with the Hella 500’s. I just put this up bc I like it and have never seen any other trucks with the Hellas hooked up to the alarm.

Man those are three bad *** trucks, and we have a real good mix! this is a really cool competition, not getting much traffic though. but I guess it is still early.
