Hey guys how it going. I just had a crazy idea. If we get a good company to make a tuner for us we should make a 3.7L cam interest thread and get that going the 3.9L guys have cams why cant we

 

hey guys how much nitrous can these 3.7l's handle??

 

I 50 or 75 wet would be my gues. Anyone running the B&G tune?

 

I've read a few reviews from people on other sites, none had the 3.7 though. I'll probably be the first unless SCT decides to fix their tuner so the tune will load up properly.

 

So SCT is coming out with a 3.7L tune? If they make it for the 3.7L Ram would it work on the Dakota?

Also I want headers the OEM manifold in the Dakota and Ram use the same Part number to there fore the 3.7L ram headers should fit a Dakota right?

Last is anyone running spray?

 

SCT doesn't formally support it and according to hemifever if they do alter the file so it will load to the tuner he will only be doing 04's and 06's if I remember right. Hemifever would be writing the tunes using the SCT tuner to load them to our trucks, he has a deal for like $375 for the tuner and unlimited tunes. I was gonna get it but we ran into the issue of the tune not loading and it's not a priority for SCT so it may never get done.

For the headers I've just recently put the jba's on mine, I'd email them to see if the ram one's will fit the dakota. If the OEM manifolds are the same between the two then the jba should fit, airram has the best price through his VIP sale.

I think someone is running it, but I'm not sure who.

i think I am going to call B&G monday and see what they say about our motors and how they can tune it

 

Sounds good, I won't be getting in touch w/ them until I get my truck dyno'd. I'm gonna get a run w/ the Jet chip in as it's been in there awhile now, pull the chip and reset the pcm and get a run, and then put the chip back in and get a run. This is to see what the chip gives in terms of power and if the pcm adapts to it over time, and then I was planning on getting a flash from B&G and was going to compare it to the other runs.
