Change in plans, hemifever hit me w/ a PM today letting me know that we should be able to tune my truck now w/ the SCT. He's shipping me one and we're going to do a couple tests to confirm. He literally caught me as I was getting directions and trying to set up a dyno session before I sent my computer to B&G. So hopefully I won't have to deal w/ shipping off my pcm now and being w/o the truck for a week. I'll keep you guys posted.

Default Tuning update

Got the SCT from hemifever and I tested it out as he instructed and was able to load the tune. Loaded up the 87 tune and no issues, ran the truck down the road and it felt good, he said the only thing he modified was the torque management on the 87 tune which I don't think does much on my manual. Once I get some 93 octane in the tank I'll load up the other tune and post impressions, so good news for 04 and probably 06 3.7's, hemifever can tune your truck.

Default Dyno numbers

Well I finally got to the dyno today to see what my little v6 could do w/ her mods and a decent tune. First Stock w/ the speed limiter removed vs. hemifever's 93 tune, both were 4th gear pulls.

Now Stock w/ speed limiter vs. Jet Stage 1 Chip, all were 3rd gear pulls. The first 2 are without the chip and the last one is w/ it.

Clearly Sean knows what he is doing, and I don't know what to say for Jet. All the Jet gains were above 4k rpm which I only get up there like 3 or 4 times a day. Sean's tune shows gains of about 10 hp across the board and 10-15 lb/ft of torque. Most of my mods are in my sig and for anybody w/ a 3.7 looking for some more power hit Sean/hemifever up and see if he can tune your ride.

So the 3.7L have a tuning option now?

If no that would be great.

Yes to some extent, it depends on the year. PM Sean/hemifever to see if he can tune your ride.

The best mpg mod for me was taking off the clutch fan and replacing it w/ an electric fan. I got a solid 1.5 mpg from that on my ram, nothing else really effected mpg except the e-fan.
