Posted this in the main 3rd gen forum, but think I might get a better response here.

I wanna put a Rough Country 6" lift on my truck, I keep seeing a lot of truck with coil spacers in them though, is that because the RC coil springs suck? Or is it a way to add even more lift? If it's the latter, what do you use to raise the back, big *** blocks and shackles?

Not really sure of the lift but it sits just a little higher than my friends stock 98 4x4 ST
just got a set of 33x12.5 Falken A/T havent gotten a chance to take em out yet but so far theyre great on the highway, beginin of Feb I'll take it out to play in the sand at the beach.
needs a plenum, then gears then higher spindles (Tax return, maybe).

I want to lift my 02 ram 1500 and i want to be able to put 18s with 35s on it at the end. I would like some advice on what is good to buy what i should avoid anything would be helpful.

Trying to lift my 92 D and I was wondering a jeep Cherokee lift would fit on it rite? Or would the A arms extend two much its about a five inch lift. Let me know what you think just looking for a cheap quick lift

 

Ok, also have 2007 1500 QC 2WD. Not yet lifted, but been doing a lot of research. Plan is for 6" up front. Liking the CST Spindles. But the one question I have concerns the Coil Springs. Looking for heavier duty since also want to add a Buckstop bumper and winch. I know that once I add the extra 2" to the coil height, the 2500 shocks are a direct replacement. (going with Bilstiens). So, will the 2500 coils also be a direct fit, and if they do fit, will they also provide that little extra lift in lieu of the spacers?

For the Front, I am not sure on the 05s, but for the 07, when adding between 2 and 3 inches, the 2500 front shocks will fit. This is what I have found, as well as what CST list in description when ordering their spindles with spacers. Blistein list P/N 24-186063 as 2003-2011 front shock for 2500.

What is a 5 inch by 3 inch lift? And Fabtech makes a 5 inch lift?
