Default Staying Clean

Ok everyone I haven't had a new vehicle in about 13 years so I need to know what's the best products to keep my 04 Ram clean and shiney. I'd like to know what you use for windows, tires, rims and is there a special brand of chamois out there that's better than the rest. Also what to use to wash the truck itself soap and should I use a sponge or something else. Last but not least I got the leather interior what do I use to keep that soft and clean. Thanks for any help you can provide.

You can use any car wash soap. A good sponge or terry cloth towel should be fine for washing. I can't remember the brand, but I use a professional drying cloth, it works just as good as a chamois and last 20X longer. For paint I would use Turtle Wax, Meguiars or Mothers carnuba wax. In between the times you wax it, after washing and drying it I use Meguiars Quik Detailer. For chrome I use Turtle Wax chrome polish with rust remover and/or Wenol polish. On glass I use Power Clean in an aerosal can. The tires and all external rubber and black plastic gets Black Magic Tire Shine. The wheel wells get any cheap one step foaming tire cleaner/protectant. Interior vinyl, plastics, rubber and leather get Black Magic Professional Protectant or Black Magic Pro Shine Protectant. If you need to clean the carpet or cloth seats, nothing beats Power Out with the brush head. For cleaning the wheels and tires use Eagle One All Wheel & Tire Cleaner.

Thanks, I try. If you check out the pics of my Roadrunner, the paint, chrome and interior(except the front seat)is untouched 33 year old factory original. It takes alot of work and years of doing it to keep it shining that well.

I also love my water blade. I bought it a couple of years ago and it's mostly all I use. I still need a towel to get some on the small areas, but for the big ones the water blade is worth it's weight in gold.

I use Rod & Custom Show Gloss Creme on my vehicles. It repels bugs, dirt, grime and the shine is unbelieveable! It's a one step process. Its easy!
