Well, I've heard of 2 methods of tinting the headlights/tailights. A cover, guessing plastic, that just you just buy premolded to your stock headlights, and then i've heard about spray on tint. Which comes in a spray paint like can and you just coat the headlight. Never heard of anyone using actual tint on them.. but im sure it would work. I know Neon out of the 2nd gen threads has the covers.. he had some problems with them sticking in the cold.. but they look nice. After my baby gets a few coats of black paint, i plan on doing this process myself.

The headlight covers are the better way though more expensive,in my state it is illegal to have them tinted or covered at night as it does affect lighting at night but at least the covers are easily removed.

VHT nightshades is the spray on tint , they also make a special head/taillight tint that goes on if the headlights are pretty flat it's not too bad but curved are very hard to get it on well...]
Several vendors on ebay sell precut headlight/tailight "kits" in clear/light/and dark tint

Be careful on the clear ones too Ohio law says you must have three square inches of red the clears have none ...
