ANY IDEA ON THE AVAILABILITY OF THE RUMBLE BEE RAM HOOD SCOOP IS IT A DEALER ITEM OR AN AFTERMARKET ITEM

 

You can get it from the parts department at the dealership, it runs around $650. You must get a new hood they can't just give you the hood scoop.

 

You may be able to get something like it from the aftermarket. I've seen some kick *** six-pack style hood scoops for the Ram.

 

i talked to the dodge dealership the other day and they would sell me the stick on scoop for 360 un painted but I dont see the point in spending that much money when you can buy a functional hood for a little more you know what im sayin

 

Yeah. that is an insane prce just for a stick on. My friend got a metal hood for his truck painted for about 500. And also the look of stick on is not that good, look at the mustangs from a couple years back that came with the stick. not impressive at all.

 

What exactly is a six-pack style hood?

 

I just purchased the rumble bee hood scoop painted to my trucks color at www.dodgeparts.com for 380 bucks. I should have did my research first before I bought it. This POS just bolts to the hood with 6 bolts. I actually wanted one that I can have a body guy cut a hole in my hood and slap one on that works. Now After looking at the ram air hoods, I will be saving a few bucks to buy the hood itself.

 

Maybe you can get some $$ back by selling it on Ebay......
