K, so im wonderin if I should keep my rims chrome, or paint them like such (see pic)

 

go for the black, man, it looks so much better than the aluminum or chrome. I am trying to find someone to powdercoat mine for me. I want to do them will switching over to winter tires.

 

I'd go for it....I had black OEM wheels on my Dakota....and I have black aftermarket wheels on my Stratus now.... they look really good. They would really set off the green on your truck.

 

Thanks what im thinking too, plus as a update, i went off roadin and scratched the rim up, so i figure I might as well, plus i just tinted my tails, windows, black out lenses for the front...so yeah im prolly gunna paint them...plus because its almuinum if I HATED it I could use a paint thinner and the paint will come right off.

 

Depends, laquer thinners wont remove urathane based paints. Only laquer based, which there isnt much of anymore. you Need a paint stripper which whill also ruin your aluminum rim.... Get some sand paper and sand it off then polish your rim back up to shine if you ever decide to remove the black paint.....

 

I think im going to do it bbecause me and my 2 best friends all got green cars and its a very similar green. 1 bmw and black rims, 1 thunderbird and black rims and i got the green ram but i need the black rims

 

i bet that bmw with the black rims looks nice!

 

Yeah I would say paint em w/ your darked out theme you have going anyways. I have the same rims as JarheadX and mine are going gloss black this weekend. I agree w/ all who said that the black seems to make the color of the truck pop more. That green/black will look good and I think my blue/black will also look good. I will post up some photos of the before/after. I did this to my car already...why not the truck too.
