I've been checking out the speed shops like Jegs and Summit, but so far have been unable to find someone who makes a supercharger for the 5.7. I'm looking for one that fits under the hood, ... (more fun when you smoke a Mustang at the lights!!!) Does anyone know of such an animal ?[8D]

 

I have been looking and I know Kenne Bell has made one but I am not sure if it was a one time thing or not. On his website it said that they could not make it work to their specifications, however they have it on their 2500 test truck so who knows. If they would build one it would be one of the hottest selling S/C on the market though. I think pretty much everyone is waiting on it.

 

KB is trying to get it to work on the 04 Hemi from what they say. That will be a nice set-up if they can figure out the code in the PCM. That was the hurdle with the 03 from what I hear.

 

supercharger for the hemi? yikes that would go fast. my truck stock can beat my buddies '91 mustang gt.

 

Yup, that's all I'd need, ..... headers, dual exhaust, and a blower tucked under the hood, and I'll be one happy camper !!!!!!
Only thing that's worrying me now is - I own an '03, and if they can't make the blower work on the 03s then I guess I'm SOL !!!!

If you put on true dual exhausts you'll be sorry, will waste your money you'll lose low end torque and get ****ty mileage Truck is not very stable much over 95 mph anyway if you put on a s.c. it will
too fast for trucks stability level anyway

 

yeah, but it will get to 95 pretty quick!!!!!!!!!!
