Can you be more specific about what you want to do to the heads?

I need specific numbers foe porting them. What's the max I can go with a stock bottom half, or would I be better just buying Magnum heads.

The heads you have are Magnum heads if it's a 98 SST. You can get porting templates for them from MoPar. You can also get some kickass aluminum heads from Edelbrock for around 1300 bucks that outflow the stock heads. Knowing MoPar, they want at least that much for their version, without valves, springs, retainers, and locks.

Then can you tell me how much of a difference there is in stock heads and magnum heads. Also lead me somewhere so I can get my heads ported. My plan is to put fastman 52mm throttle body on port my heads and put 3" straight pipe all the way back.I want to get my truck in the low 14's in the quarter. Right now it's low 15's and I want to beat the ricers all running high 14's

I may be mistaken, but there is no such thing as stock vs. Magnum heads. The stock heads are Magnum heads. That is what makes the Magnum engine a Magnum engine. A good place for ported head service is Hughes engine.

Good luck.

My plan is to port and polish my heads, bigger throttle body, and straight 3" exhaust. I need a mid to low 14 sec. run to shut up the ricers and mustangs.
