Default E85 Conversion Kit

I just came across this website: www.makemycare85.comIt looks like you can convert any car to E85/flex fuel. Anyone have any experience with this? Seems pretty interesting with E85 being $1 less per gallon that unleaded!

Default RE: E85 Conversion Kit

All you need to do to run E85 is be able to richen your fuel map. E85 is actually higher octane than regular fuel, so a lot of people are switching to it to experiment with it's performance gains. The added octane means you can run more advanced timing and free up some horsepower. The only problem with it is, the fuel actually has LESS energy per unit (ounce, gallon, ect) than regular unleaded gasoline, so you need to actually run MORE fuel per firing cycle than regular gasoline. So although it's cheaper, you will get less MPG and it will nearly equal out to regular fuel. Unless you feel you are helping the environment, or you run at the track and the performance gains turn out to be good... there really is no reason to switch over to E85.

Don't do it for the $$$, because it really isnt gonna save you much.
