New 440 Engine!!!
I have a 1972 Roadrunner w/ a 440 in it, it was cranking about 650 ponies. I recently walked a main bearing on a run and need to go through the motor! I would like to just start fresh and build a whole new motor, I have the blocks so all I need are some Idea's. I was thinking of trying to get it into the 900+ hp range! I already have stage II 906 heads to support it so how about crank, pistons, cam and intake! any links to sites would be appreciated too![sm=thanx.gif]
1000+ would be great. but thar envolves a crank that costs about $3900 and takes special main caps n stuff. But6 if I was to go with nitrous I'm sure I could get it there without haviong to do that![sm=goodidea.gif]
I was looking at a stroker kit from Hughes Engines!

That looks like a comparable kit. I'd give you a link to the Indy site, but i didn't see this kit on their website. It was in the latest issue of MoPar Collectors Guide. You can call Indy at 317-862-3724 for more info.

900 ponies would do me just fine.
