Default Dodge Ram needing constant jumpstarts

I tried starting my truck yesterday, and it reved for a second and then just kept clicking. After a jumpstart it started just fine.

However, this morning it did the same thing, so I had to jump it again.

My battery is only a year old...could it still be the battery, or could something else be wrong?

Check the alternator output before you condemn the battery. It is possible for a battery that is only 1 year old to fail though.

Problem solved! I took my truck to a battery place and they tested the battery and the alternator, and both were fine. It has been running fine for over a week now.

My guess is that when I took it in for U-joint replacement, they left a door open or something to drain the battery, and it wasn't fully charged yet when I got it back.

Thanks
