I'm having some problems w/my heat and AC. Everything is blowing but the hot isn't very hot and the cold isn't very cold. I did the diagnostic, i.e. AC blower on, **** on max cool, right **** on defrost and hold down the EBL button and I get error code 46 which is "AC control blend door shorted to battery." How do I correct this? I'm assuming that it isn't as easy as simply disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes. I'd really like to get this working as it's pretty hot and this just won't produce cold air. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

 

Sorry, I should have said AC46 is the code that comes up in the odometer field. It's not from an OBD connection and it was obtained from running the "manual air conditioning system diagnostic" process. Thanks.
