My Dynasty has a V-6 with a 4speed automatic transmission. It has been sticking in 2nd gear. I tried the process a Chiltons had to teach the tranny with no luck

not sure how the dynasty's tranny is setup, but you might look into the line pressures and see how they are setup... on the ram tranny's the govenor pressure sensor & solenoids control the shifting with the vb...

 

This tranny is controlled electronically.

 

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for an hour or so? I don't know what Chilton's process is but my son's 93 Dynasty gets to where it really "searches" for low gear when stopping. Unhooking the battery for awhile lets the computer go intolearn mode and then it'll be fine for awhile. This is cheaper than $200 for a new controller.
