Default Huge Electrical Problem!!!

I went to start my 02 Stratus R/T 3.0 Manual tranny, and all was working fine electrically and as soon as I went to crank it.. everything died. I checked all the fuses and checked the battery and it showed me 13 volts. The car has no power on any electrical component and it looks like the it destroyed the battery power. It had the same problem 3 weeks ago and I replaced the battery with no following problems untill now 3 weeks later. Could It be the alternator or the voltage regulator and if so how do I replace it.

Default RE: Huge Electrical Problem!!!

it could indeed be the voltage regulator.. trouble is its built into the altenator.. hard to test it w/o the car running.. now.. you say there is NO POWER anywhere in the vehicle except for the battery.. that could be a couple of things.. check the main fuse on the relay block under the hood... second.. make sure its not ignition related.. if your ignition switch fried it will keep power from going to any accessories.. does the dome light come on when you open the door?
