Overdrive lockout Solonoid replacment
Is there anyone out there that can give me some advice on changing the Overdrive Lockout Solonoid on a 92 Dodge Dakota. It just decided to stop shifting into overdrive. I thought it would be an easy fix until someone told me that the valve body has to be removed. I have always done all my own mechanics work, but it has never been inside of an automatic trans. Is this something that I can do myself and can somebody help me out with some instructions. Any assistance would be deeply appreciated.
Thanks, Del

RE: Overdrive lockout Solonoid replacment
I no longer need assistance on this matter. I changed the Lockout Solonoid and it didn't work. Any other fixes that anybody can think of would be appreciated. It was shifting in overdrive until I changed the motor and after I changed it it would only shift to drive and no farther. Thanks.
