Default Seat belt light? Can it be a fault code?

My seatbelt light has come on and it won't go out even when I fasten my seatbelt. I checked and everything is or seems to be plugged in. Is this light a fault code for afaulty module? Possibly the SCTM (I may have the letters mixed around)

Thanks for the help.

sounds like the switch in the seat belt latch.. look under the seat.. theres a plug.. un plug it and plug it back in and see if that helps.. it is not a fault code.. other than it dont think your belt is on
