Default New Member-Low Oil Pressure w/cold start

I'm new to the forum, but I need a little help with my 2004 Dakota 4.7L. When I start my truck after letting it sit outside in the cold for an extended period of time the oil pressure stays at zero and the check engine light comes on. If I shut the engine off and turn it back on the oil pressure reachesnormal level on the pressure gagehowever it is a little slower than it would in warmer temperatures. I use 5W30 oil and replace the oil filter when changing the oil every 3500-4000 miles. Any thoughts on why this would happen and what I need to do to fix this?
