Default Need to bleed.

Being a dumb-***, I felt a strong desire to see how far I could drive my 2001 Dodge 3500 diesel with the fuel warning light on. The answer turned out to be, not to far. In all fairness the gauge showed that I still had an 8th of a tank left (guess it was wrong). Anywho, I now need to bleed the fuel line before I can be on my merry little way. If you have this knowledge, your help would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Foster

crack plug on top of filter housing and bump starter do this until all air is gone and tighten plug. then crack lines on inj. pump and bump starter once you have fuel there tighten. try starting might take a while with foot on acel. if that doesnt do it you have to crack injection lines at injectors on head and have some one turn truck over till fuel starts squirting out(just crack line this fuel is under pres.) ater you get fuel to about 3 inj truck will start and keep it running to purge air from remaining lines, you will have to drive truck to put a load on engine to remove all air. make sure no fuel leaks and wear clothes you dont like cause your gonna get fuel on them.
