318 CFI to carb swap
I posted a thread in the intake section, but have some more general questions about the swap. First off, it’s a 1988 318 in a B150 cargo van. The cfi system in it is completely hacked up. I figure I could convert it over to a carburetor. I currently already have an edelbrock 600 cfm 4v carb and an MSD 6A ignition box. Initially all I thought I would need would be an intake, but now I think I might need a distributor as well? I figure I could also keep the stock fuel pump and just use a fuel pressure regulator to kick the psi down to 6-7. Is there anything else that I might need? It has a torque flight 727 automatic I believe.
