More than a dent - Stratus 2001
Hi,
I have a 2001 Stratus Coupe R/T that just became my toy as we bought a (real) family car. I am trying to fix a few things on it. I am trying to tackle a few dents caused by parking lot door slams. I have 2 or 3 serious dents into the line that runs along the doors. These are not the normal dents that you just hammer back in place, chunks are missing. I am wondering how to approach this. It seems some filler would be needed. To make things easy from color matching perspective, I am toying with the idea of painting them a different color, amybe blue(car is pearl).
On the flip side, how easy would it be to obtain parts . . . if not too expensive, maybe plain old replacing the parts is the way to go.
Anyways, any suggestions for this newbie would be appreciated.
