Default 2.0L head resurfacing ?

I have a 2.0L DOHC engine and need to know how much I can have resurfaced off of the head?

Are you doing it for compression, or to square the surface? I'm not sure I understand your question.

If you want to make sure it's flat take off .007-.010
If you are wanting to raise comp. you can take off up to .065, but I don't know anyone that has taken more than .040 off. Anything more than .035 and you have to take out the values before it's milled.

I just want the surface flat but if it can raise performance what thickness should I have them machine off?
