i have a 2001 dodge ram 1500
its a manual transmission and i am trying to replace the gear shift **** but i cant figure out how to get the **** off the rod.
help please?

most of the time they are just screwed on and take a bit of effort and some other times they could have a small bolt or screw in it your local dodge dealership could tell you way more about it but thats what i have encountered in my time of doing automotive work
