HVAC controller
Hello all,
I have a 2001 Dakota Quad Cab with a 5.9L engine. It has A/C and rear window defroster. I just replaced the hvac controller with a good unit because of a problem with the old one. Now the rear window defrost light blinks constantly and the A/C light does not come on at all. Everything else works fine. There are no faults on my code scanner. Does anybody know if there is a way to reset the A/C controller?

this may not fix it for you but its info you need.
check the ign switch. somtimes the contacts for the heater burn out. thats why you should turn the heater system off with the heater switch, before you turn off the ign swicth. same with a microwave, turn it off with the button not the door.
