hi i hope someone can help me!!!
i am over in little old england with my very big 3500 ram i have trouble fitting her on the roads over here !
anyway to cut a long story short she is poorly.
i brought her just over a year ago from an importer and she was fine for a bit then she started to shudder when changing gears,then it got worse and she would struggle to go in reverse and then stopped going in reverse altogether.
so i had a service done on the gearbox, filter and fluid.
the filter was blocked and there was grey gunk in the bottom of the sump but no metal fillings or anything bad.
now after the service she goes in reverse but she wont change out of first gear if i try she locks up.
she is a 2002 ram 3500 dually5.9 cummins diesel only 85.000 on the clock.
if anyone could give any pointers as the garages are not very good at automatic transmission over here.
please help.

Hmmmmm this will be a thinker, do you know what model transmission this rig has?

Also.....

Did you have this trans Flushed too? or just a pan drop n fluid changed?
