Default 1998 Dodge 1500 - Getting a little hot at idle

I noticed my truck heating up at a drive thru (idle) when it was a little hot outside. Didnt get to the red but was over half. Should I be alarmed? Should I proceed to flush my cooling system? Also my wife said when she followed me she noticed some bluish smoke (small puff) when I got on the gas. Not sure if the 2 are related. Any tips or advice would be great.

Do the coolant flush n cleaning. The smoke could be worn out n bad valve stem seals or worn piston rings.

How many miles are on this rig of yours?

A lot of miles.....197,000

But it still runs good. But I do want to freshen up everything to see if I can get another 100k out of it. Previous owner took good care of it from what I can tell.
