Default Passenger-side floor soakingwet

Hi,

I have a question about my Dodge:

I bought a secondhand one last week, a Ram 1500 Laramie, 1999, and after driving 1200 miles in 1 week, the passenger-side floor is soakingwet.
I asked the former owner what it might be, but, suprise....he never had any problems with it before!!
I think it might have something to do with the airco or cooling, condens leaking in the car orso.

Does anybody have any idea what it might be?

Assuming you were not driving thru a river, it is one of 2 things.

1. If you were running your AC, it is possible that the drain in the HVAC box is clogged and the condensation is building up with no where to escape. Need to rod out the drain, not too bad to do.

2. If the puddle is coolant, then your heater core is leaking. Either going to cost you $1000 to have it done or many hours (big job, not for the faint of heart) of your own time and about $100-$150 in parts.

Cheers United, my geuss would be it's the AC. Is the HVAC box behind the glovebox, what's the easiest way to get to the drain?

Many thanks.

There seems to be cold air coming out the blowerwhile the AC is switched off, could this be part of the problem?

Cheers
