Default th350--->dodge w200 driveshaft question

HI!

I have an rear axle of a dodge w200 truck, installed on my z28, it also has a th350 trans.

Does a standard driveshaft of a w200 (front yoke) fit a th350?

thank you

Default RE: th350--->dodge w200 driveshaft question

What year W200 is it, and what year Z28 is it? I assume it's a Dana 60 axle. The older Dodge Dana 60's had the same size u-joint as the older Chevy 12-bolts. However, the pinion is so much longer on a Dana 60 compared to a 10- or 12- bolt that you're going to need a new driveshaft built anyway.

If they're not the same joints, just have your TH350 stub put on the W200 shaft when you get it shortened. Or you can use the Camaro shaft and an adapter U-joint. That's kinda what I'm doing in my Blazer. The shaft is from a 1/2 ton and I have an adapter joint to go to the 1-ton axle.

On your original question, I believe the transmissions have different spline counts.
