I have a new keyless entry transmitter, I also have a working (original) keyless transmitter...I have read the instruction in the manual and the instructions that came with the new transmitter. I am obviously doing something wrong?

My problem is, that when I go to program the new transmitter using the original existing working transmitter, I end up programing the new transmitter but then the originl transmitter stops working? In the end I still only have one working transmitter, if I repeat the process the same thing happens...one working transmitter.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

 

I thought you needed two transmitters to program a new one?
