Default RE: acceleration problem

I'd go for it and do it yourself. clutches are easy to replace. My recommendation however is to split the t-case from the tranny, that will make it easier to manage taking it in and out.

The flywheel you may be able to get re-surfaced if there are no deep cracks in it...check that out 1st!

Default RE: acceleration problem

i can't afford the time to wait to have it towed to a garage because i work 30 miles away so i just had them do it. it came to $1100, they charged me $600 labor. =\ they machined the flywheel so that saved on having to buy a new one . i could have done it myself but it would have been very stressful.
