This will be the 3rd one in 2 years that I've replaced. This last one lasted the longest. Going along tonight coming home from work and lights start flickering on and off. I changed to lowbeams and they got me home.
Prior to this I smelt something burning, albeit faintly. The last 2, I would loose low beams, now it seemed to be overheating on high, but didn't burn out.

Is this common? 2 switches were Autozone, the last one was a "Standard Ignition" brand, Bumper to Bumper.

Thoughts?
