I have a 2001 Intrepid with 44K miles, no leaks and runs great. I am thinking about starting to use a Synthetic Oil. Any suggestions on weather or not that is a good idea. If so, what brand synthetic is worth its weight?
On a side note, if I stay with Crude is one brand truly better than another?
I didn't really mean crude oil, I just mean the traditional (non-synthetic) oil. I wasn't sure if going pure synthetic after 44K miles was a good idea?
go Mobil 1. thats what I'm planning to do for my 2002 intrepid in 3 thousand miles because I just got ti changed. I'm at 36 now and 39 when i change to synthetic
Gotta agree about the Mobil 1. I'm really interested in seeing more on this new formula, extended life, supersyn they have out now. Walmart has it $24 for 5 qts.
