Default Lock up converter

I am having trouble with I beleive it to be the lock up conv. It is kind of like an extra gear that will drop the rpms a little once you get to speed. Well mine is bouncing in and out of this. At a steady speed it will go from 2000 rpm to 2300 rpm and just bounce back and fourth. It does this now at all different speeds. Has anyone ever heard of this and what should I do?

Could be a bad wire, bad PCM, a lot of things. Is it throwing any codes?

No codes or nothing. Transmission shift just fine besides this little problem.

Mileage? Vehicle? It could just need service, try changing the fluid and filter and having the bands adjusted. There is a lot of things it could be.
