Default Is it a 4X4??

hey,

My boyfriend is looking to restore a Dodge truck but never can find that good intial truck to restore...so today i'm looking in our local paper and i find a 1983 Dodge Power Ram-150..so i call and the lady is like me and knows nothing..lol..imagine that (she's selling an estate and isn't sure) she going to look into it..but i'm trying to find out myself..the picture looks like the truck sits high..could it be a 4X4??

It could be a modification, but yes post pictures Look at the ouside emblems too, it may say 4x4 or something..

go and look at it for yourself. lay down on the ground and if there is 1 drive shaft going to the front and one to the back its 4x4.
if its just one to the rear its 4x2.

although you could probably just look on the inside floor boards an see if there is a transfer case lever there or not.
the only problem with this though is that there is a posibility that it may have full time 4 wheel drive. just to be sure peform both steps

or look for the front differential
