On my way to work this morning and almost had a heart attack!
Cruising down the highway and heard a load Thud. Then the hood started bouncing. The hood popped and was help closed by the safety latch. I was under the hood a couple days ago, but put a good 150 miles on since then on the highway and down some good bouncy back roads. Hood was fine.
I pulled over, gave the hood a good slam shut and then tried to pull it open. It didn't budge.
I would like to believe this was a freak occurence, but I had trouble with the doors latching as well.
The thought of having the hood hit my windshield scares the hell out me. Are they not builind them as good as they used to? Or am I just paranoid?

 

i believe dodge had a problem with thier hood latches at 1 point and time not sure if they still do. i believe it was mostly pertained to the pickups mostly.
