Default looking to buy...need some hel

Hi everyone. i just joined and i am actively looking to buy a beautiful durango! i love these beasts, but before i do...i need to know, what is the expected mileage to be received out of these. I know with the usual maintenance and upkeeping, but at what point do they start to lose there engine power? Do i stay with low miles or go average miles? Please help...thank yous....

What other problems, if any, do people have with these?

Well, a friend of mine had a 5.9L Durango and he drove the heck out of it, it resulted in awful, awfulgas mileage... Although he SHOULD have been using premium, or at leastPlusbut didn't... LOL! Anyway, the engine's are solid, at no point has any Durango I've been around ever had power loss issues. Keep up on the oil changes, and no matter what the previous owner says, put a little money into it, change the oil and filter, air filter, spark plugs and wires... trans flush if you're so inclined... LOL! But start off right, driveit right and they are FABULOUS fun SUV's to drive... I always think the lower the miles the better... Hope I helped... LOL!

Ooh yea, I think brand new tires feel better on the Durango for handling at higher speeds...
