Just purchased 2005 srt 10 quad cab. is it common to have lifter noise,spoke to dealer they said sounds like injectors, more noticable when hot, but this is not injector noise, also not a smooth idle,they said these performance motors are noisy. any feedback greatly appreciated.

 

Noisy injectors on a gasser. . .that would be a first

I'm willing to say that the engine is inherently noisy since it is a performance engine with performance parts, which tent to "klank" a bit more.

I'm sure some of the SRT-10 guys will chime in as well.
