KOKO self test
working on 1990 dodge B-250 Van with a 318 cu in.
have check engine light on. did key-on, key-off (KOKO) 3 times.
got code 3 and then 5 - 5 (or is that 10). think 5 - 5 signifies the end.
so, does anyone know what is code 3 is ??

thanxs for the reply.
may be a 1 and then a 2 (only thing i could figure), then a 5 and another 5 (is it suppose to end in two 5's (have read somewhere on the net)).
would drive the short distance to autozone - but the inspection sticker is out (costly fine)
the speedometer is messed up. just turning the key to the ON position, causes the speedometer to jump up to 30 - 40 mph. think it goes to 70 - 90 just when it is started

5-5 is really code 55. It means all codes were read or all is good. All KOKO tests with older Dodges do this. Normally when you do this test the computer will tell you the first number then pause then give you the other number, pause then it starts on the next code in the same sequence.
