Default Will car still go if the rear D/S is removed

Hi I'm new to here and new to Dodge Caravans. I just got a new -used- caravan 90 awd v6 version. It has a broken rear driveshaft. If I remove the drive shaft can the car be driven or will it just send all the power to the now disconnected rear end? Please let me know. I'd like to be able to use this while I wait for the part to come in (meaning I go to a junk yard and yank it myself. Please let me knw.

Thanks
Renny

It will still drive with rear prop shaft removed, not a good idea to drive it like that though. It will tear up the PTU.
