I know you're in New England, but once the weather warms up, you may want to consider 10W-30....just a thought (I lived in Lynn, Mass. before)...
Amsoil does make 2 5w-30 full synthetic oils. The SAE series 5w-30 is a group 4 PAO synthetic (full synthetic) The other 5w-30 is their Series 3000 5w-30 Heavy Duty Diesel and fleet oil. Both are fully compatible with 4 stroke engines. The S3000 oil is Amsoil's top of the line oil. It is extremely robust and less likely to oxidize because it is designed to work in a harsh enviroment (diesel engines)
