Without the tach as well, I would say your screwed.[sm=smiley5.gif] You will need to get the speedo fixed, the speedo problem in the Daytona's are very common, my Shelby Z had that problem. Mine would work when it wanted to and just quit when it wanted to as well, in and out all the time. I said screw it and just used the tach to tell how fast I was going based on what gear I was in and the RPM's in each gear. I never bothered to get it fixed, most of the time the money had to go into other repairs on it because it was a very high mileage(145,000+ miles) car when I bought it. It is probably a bad connection at the gauge or a bad wire.
