Default 99 Durango with no power

I have a 99 Durango with the 5.9l and a 2001 ram also with the 5.9l. Compared to the ram, the durango has absolutely no power off the line. The engine runs like a top and has no probs winding out, it just acts like its dragging an anchor. I understand that the gear ratios are different and how this might effect performance. I recently had a complete tune up on the durango that included new oxygen sensors, but nothin changed. Would a clogged cat. conv. cause this? The trans. shifts firmly so I'm thinking slippage isnt an issue. Any thoughts would be great.

I was thinking the same. A bad catalytic converter is a horrible way to lose power.

Could be nothing at all too. It's not uncommon to have the same engines run significantly different from one another. Is there a big difference in mileage between the 2 engines? Is one modded differently than the other? Use different oils?
