I just purchased a trailer hitch and wiring harness for my 04 Quad Cab and have hit a brick wall. The instructions for the wiring harness are pretty vague and I was wondering if anyone on here had any instructions that would be easier to understand or at least could tell me the easiest way to install it. The hitch went on without a snag and if I can just get this wiring harness installed I can go to the lake tomorrow. Thanks.

 

You have to use the diagram that came with the hitch. Some more information would help. What wires are you stuck on?

 

The blue wire that runs into the cab...is that the wire for a trailer brake gain controller?

 

Again I am doing my best here, I am not a trailer guy, but, I would say connect it to the brake controller in the cab, do you have a diagram for the controller?
