Ok I have a problem with my 2000 dodge neon. When the car is at idle in drive or is going slow the car does not get enough fuel and spudders. When I floor the car it starts to go fine but at times the atl. light will flash on and off and then just go off. When sitting in idle i can feel the car spuddering. Ive been told to change my fuel filter and that i might be running on 3 cyl. insted of 4. If anyone can help please do!!1 Thanks

 

Try to replace your spark plus with OEM Champion plugs. If that doesn't work get some Mopar or good named wires. I had that same problem in my older Neon I replaced both and it worked wonders.

 

Agree. Also, changing ya fuel filter wont hurt either.
