<FONT face=Arial color=#ff0000>After repeated check, always told the order is OK, no issues... still no build date and the earliest they will possibly get is Mid Feb for the build date! The regional sales manager got involved. This is NOT a dealer issue other than they should NEVER send a customer down the "order a vehicle path".</FONT></P>


BUYERS BEWARE - DODGE SEEMS TO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS THAT ORDER A VEHICLE. No I'm very concerned about buying from a company that has so little regard for customers.</P>


And note that they won't pass you to a manager to tell any names to get your issues heard - bad bad behavior. Going shopping for a FORD tonight.</P>

 

Hmm... i do understand your mental anguish... however i do not understand how you take it out on every dodge dealership... maybe the dealership you ordered from doesnt care... however i happen to work for a five star Dodge dealership which isnt an easy thing to do... it takes over 90% customer satisfaction within the whole dealership (Sales, Service, and bodyshop if one is in the dealership) to be awarded with that... Before you go to look at the ford why dont you come see us at Allen Samuels Katy Dodge in Katy Texas and i bet you will drive away a happy man in a brand new cummins... why the hell order one.. we got em on the lot... </P>

My apologies if my message was attacking dealers - Is as said, thsi is not a dealer issue - the dealer has been superb - it is the factory that does not care. I think I need to find out how to send a letter to the CEO of DODGE.</P>


I'm in California, so I have to contend with the vehicle being a CA versions (can't have HO version as well). Can you solve this from Texas?</P>

<FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color=blue size=3>When i went shopping for a new vehicle i tried the ford place first they didnt want to give me a quote then i hit the chevy place they didnt want to sell me anything they wouldnt even talk to me after i found a salesman i tried a lot of dealers and when i went to the dodge dealership they made me feel like the most important person on the face of the earth and gave me a great deal and to this day they still try to help and i bought my truck in 97 so either you r an A$$ or your going to the wrong dodge dealer cause i know they care bout there customers</FONT>

If you read the note I posted back to Adam above, you'd have seen that the dealer has been superb - one of the best ever. Could not say enough good about them at this point. But the manufacturer - has blown it. Interesting there are NO 3500 Quad Cab 4X4 SWB Cummins autos in Light Almond Pearl Metalic in California, Nevada, or Oregon - so far....</P>

Well, I got my truck on March 5th - 4 months after ordering. It's great. It was supposed to have electronic-sh*t-on-the-fly but does not - otherwise it is just what I expected. The order shows it was supposed to have the electronic shift. No explanation yet - suspicion is that the new tranny is not compatible so they electronic sh*t was deleted by manufactured with NO communication they did that. Dealer searched and there are NO trucks in stock in the west coast with the option ... I like it fine like it is...

 

NOOOOOO NEVER GO WITH FORD, U WILL REGRET IT.

 

Before I got my Dakota R/T I drove an '87 F-150 Lariat single cab with the 5.0L. I loved that truck so much but this dumb lady wasn't paying attention and hit me head on in the neighborhood and insurance totalled the truck out. There are a lot of good Fords out there but some suck pretty bad.
