Default Clock Display with Radio On?

Don't know if this is just how the 96 strats work, but when the radio is on, it isnt possible to see the time on the digital display. I have another 96 Dodge that goes back to the clock after a few seconds...Is this a defect or is there something I have to press? The retractable antenna gets a workout when I want to check the time on the highway...

You could try pressing the power/volme **** like it was a button.

Or if that fails read the owners manual; use the index.

Heck these days you could possibly google it and find one online before you could go get it out of the glovebox.
