Default 3.7 Question!?!?

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 regular cab swb 2wd truck. It has the 3.7 magun v6 and also put the 20 inch ram wheels on it. when i am going down the road, say anywhere from 50-65 mph and the engine is in overdrive running anywhere from 1400-1900 rpms i feel a small bumping sensation almost as if i am hitting small bumps in the road. kind of a bucking deal. when u press the gas a little it will quit. it seems as if maybe the engine is bogging or something? anyone familiar with this? my dad has a 2004 dakota crew 4x4 with the 3.9 and i think he said he is having the same issue. I installed a k and n filter. what might be the problem?

thanks,
mike

you have one of Chrysler's bad transmissions.. My cousin had a 2004 Dodge Dakota 3.7 4x4 and anywhere from 55-65 he'd have that... it's that 4 spd automatic transmission..take it into the dealership and have them look it over... hopefully you can get that covered under warranty...
